Custom Dry Cleaning and Finishing
Every item receives individual attention.
We start by inspecting for stains. Each type of stain requires a different treatment. A coffee stain, for instance, may require up to three processes: one to remove the coffee, one to treat milk or cream, and another to address sugar. That’s why our award-winning technicians use a wide range of tools to break down and remove stains without harming the fabric.
Then, we choose the right cleaning method for each item. For garments with delicate beadwork or embroidery, we combine different cleaning methods to give you the best results.
After cleaning, inspectors look over each piece. If it doesn't meet their critical eye, the item returns to the stain removal board. The garment is pressed and then inspected again. Once the Final Inspector feels it looks great, then is it released to be packaged and returned.
Shirt Laundering
After inspecting and pre-treating any stains, we clean all shirts and blouses with our gentle aqua careprocess. Once they pass the final quality inspection, shirts are pressed with two specialized machines producing a professional appearance. We always replace any missing or damaged buttons. You may choose between receiving your garment on hangers or folded.
Area Rugs
St. Croix Cleaners cleans and restores all types of rugs, hand-knotted and machine-made. Our experts measure and inspect all rugs upon arrival. We test for colorfastness and pre-treat stains to restore the rug’s beauty without harming the fibers. We can apply Scotch Guard at your request. In-house experts process rugs on site in our state-of-the art facility.
Draperies
You know that dust and dirt collect on your furniture. Have you thought about their effect on your drapes? Regular cleaning increases the life of draperies and keeps your entire room fresh and clean. We clean the fabric with our custom processes, choosing a cleaning method—or methods—that will remove stains without harming the textile. Within one week, your drapes are clean and pressed ready to impress your fiends and loved-ones.
Tablecloths and Bed Linens
We specialize in cleaning and finishing tablecloths, lace cutwork and all types of bed linens. Our restoration process can remove oxidation stains and whiten linens and lace that have yellowed over time.
Your fine linens require careful attention—especially heirloom pieces. We use our professional opinion to determine the appropriate care method and ensure that your bed linens are bright, fresh and clean. We package your linens in breathable bags that help reduce creasing.
Leather and Suede
St. Croix Cleaners cleans and restores all leather and suede garments. Our experience keeps your leather goods looking great. These materials often aren’t colorfast, and some dye may come out during cleaning. Also, leather and suede dry over time. That’s why we add oil and color as needed, preserving the item in top condition for years of use.
