History

St Croix Cleaners was established in 1960 by Bill and Jean Clemmings with one store in Stillwater, MN. Jean was proud of her first dry cleaning machine that was a self-service, coin-operated machine in the Laundromat. They quickly expanded to a full-service dry cleaner and laundry plant.

In 2001, Dave and Polly Nemec bought the business with two stores in the Stillwater area. Since then the Nemec's have increased the business to encompass the entire East Metro area, including Woodbury, Cottage Grove and Hudson, bringing the total number of stores to 10.

St Croix Cleaners is a family-owned and operated, earth friendly dry cleaner. We strive to provide the highest customer service and highest quality dry cleaning to our valued customers.

St Croix Cleaners strives to provide the highest quality, non-toxic dry cleaning, laundry and specialty cleaning to the Twin Cities area, while providing excellent customer service. Values: Integrity, Quality Work, and superior customer service.
